Yes I have to say the blue e36 320se was the best car we have ever had it never cost a lot for the mot and never let us down in 13 years. But at the moment we have got the blue smash up e36 my e46 touring 318 and a e36 323 convertible on the drive way we can't move for BMWs at the moment
Merry Christmas to you all
From Steve

So...a rainy night...maybe too close following distance on a truck?

Here, they're teaching the 3-second rule...following 3 secs. in dry conditions, 6 in wet, and 9 in snow...and hope the drivers do 2,4, and 6.

In any case...sorry to see it, Steve. I love my e36...beautifully nimble ride.

Have you assessed the damage enough to know if you want to have it as a project? Don't know how deep it went into engine, and I know it's a bit of work and would be totaled by an ins. company...but curious. Will it drive again?

The insurance have let us keep it but they have written it off but there is no rush now because we have the convertible so I am going to try and fix it as a project because it was such a great car it's damage is rad and fan and air box in the engine and then 1 wing head lights bonnet slam panel front panel and grills or indicters the bumper looks ok but will know more when I'm stripping her down wish me look every one

Thanks jgold47 no it is a electric hood but works ok at the moment, do they have roof problems a lot. The only problem I have found up to now is the passenger side window does not drop when you open the door it also does not work when you press the switch does any one know what causes this.
