Preventing IP theft
Hey all,
So a friend and I have an idea for a start-up/mobile app, and it's potentially a great idea if executed properly. My worry is that the ideas we have could possibly be stolen. What are some ways to protect yourself from that, especially if we want to, for example, create a website describing the venture for potential seed capital/funding? FYI, I'm a student, so I don't have a ton of money for lawyers, etc.

If there something proprietary about your idea? Potentially something patentable? If not, and it's a good idea, you're going to get copy-catted. The goal: be better than the knock offs :-)
