So....

Ever since I saw these on the Hungarian e46 coupe in the The Aggresive Wheel Thread I haven't been able to think about any other wheels. With the help of some friends, got the fenders rolled/pulled, tires mounted, and coils installed.

I have a ways to go before I'm on the same level with the Hungarian coupe, but it's a start. I'm hoping after the coils settle I'll be able to play some more with the car's overall height and camber to get it dialed in with "moar" low.

In the meantime, here's how she sits ... I'm very happy so far needless to say. And I know the look isn't for everyone, but it's grown on me and I certainly appreciate all the education on the subject matter available on there forums.

Of course, compliments and criticism welcomed!

It's a good start. What tire sizes did you go with?

First off, I want to thank those that have commented on the car's looks thus far. Sure, modding is an individual's taste, but it helps to have members whose cars I follow so closely take a few moments to share their thoughts.

You are right, at least in my case, there's a little bit of rub here and there depending on the road, and of course entry in and out of driveways, etc. But you hear the guys so far... they want moar low, and I'd like to deliver (without tearing up the tires/car).

Agreed, it was initially considerably lower. But without knowing exactly what was rubbing where, and to what extent we decided to raise her up until the suspension settled and further adjustments could be made. Not sure how much rubbing I'll have to deal with, so we'll see in the near future .. but I hear you guys, I think it needs to sit lower too, just a matter of how I'll get it there.

Much like most of the 19x9 and 19x10 crew thus far, I opted for 215/35/19 fronts and 235/35/19 rears but went with a truer to size Federal SS-595 rather than the narrow Falken FK 452. I know you are running the Falkens, so it'll be curious to hear your thoughts as we each put miles on our tires to see how they hold up.

Wow that doesn't look bad. Kinda too stretched IMO. But with a drop it'll look dope.

Looks great. Like others have said it would be perfect if it was lower. I'd love to see straight on side and rear shots.
