It is cheaper to buy used transmission than to gather parts. Pump is $200, seal kit is $150, not worth it.

Be more specific on what you need and why.

Sure you can get the parts. What do you want to do.

Hello Captain, I am not familiar with using this form, But what has happened is a friend of mine helped me replace the motor in my 2000 323ci and he did not set the converter all the way in therefore I believe the pump in the trans was damaged, the car will not move forward or reverse and I was told has no line pressure, I am having some bad luck but I am not giving Up. I was fortunate to find a low mileage motor and then this happens, I have been looking around at used Trans and don't know if I am better off just having my Trans rebuilt. any suggestions Please comet. Thank You Bill.

You should contact, flashtwosix on this forum because she has experienced this exact problem with her transmission on an engine change.

Do you have the 5L40E 5 speed GM Automatic?

You probably have the GM 5L40E in your 2000 323ci.

Send a private message to the member. Select User CP at the top, then select Send Private Message.
