I liked that one too. Using the voice of Paul Harvey was the key to that commercial being a success

Are you guys serious when you are saying you liked it? It was long, mentioned god one too many times, monotonous, and I was a little shocked that it was for a Dodge Ram.

I guess it might work for the target demo (Bible Belt Christians), but it def rubbed me the wrong way and left a bad taste in my mouth.

Yeah no kidding. A ford or a Chevy makes sense but I don't think dodge is the go to truck for farmers. Actually, I know it's not.

I liked the Doritos commercial with the goat

The only one I laughed at was Leon Sandcastle. Ram commercial was awful.

I liked the farmer sentiment, but I agree that it was dripping with religion.

I loved Leon. I also liked the "where do babies come from" one.

These events need to have the national anthem and leave it at that. America The Beautiful isn't the national anthem.

The terrifying thing is that there are people in the Bible Belt, watching Murcas game, with a Dodge, who literally think jesus invented the truck.

Wouldn't have made a difference.

It was actually too sentimental, and it was definitely too long. Several of the people I was watching with stopped paying attention half way through.

But you know what, we all will remember it because it was different.

Props to them for not doing the same old, same old.

That was not a commercial made by Dodge about god making farmers with Paul Harvey reading it, Dodge just used a sound clip from Paul Harvey to advertise their trucks, some people take things involving god a little too serious, if you ignore the use of the word god it just speaks of the hard working man that Dodge (and every other truck maker) embraces/exploits to sell their ****.

Sent from the anal probe of my spacecraft using a series of tubes.

+1 dude!

I remember watching that commercial and being confused as hell. I was like "is it a milk commercial? Do they want me to buy a tractor? Oh, it must be some religious thing...." Nope its Dodge trucks.... WTF!

Stupid marketing in my opinion!

I think the dripping with religion part was a good move, given the people I assume they're targeting.

That Dodge commercial is weird, my vote goes for the Volkswagen Beetle or the old people Taco Bell one as well. Not impressed this year either need some more creativity.
