Mobile Phone Data Usage - AT&T/Verizon Employees GET IN HERE!

So I am starting to track my data usage to see how much I actually use.

On my iPhone it says that in one day I've used 400mb of data. Does that equate to 400mb of network data or is the data somehow compressed more? As of now I'm on track to use 12GB of data for the month.

So does 400MB data on the iPhone equal 400MB NETWORK data usage or is it compressed?

something is not right.
if 400mb on a single day is correct, you need to ask yourself what the heck you're doing with your mobile.
I found that number ridiculous high.

Are you tethering/wifi hotspot/browsing on a desktop website instead of a mobile website a lot?

Watching porn?

I'm hoping you didn't reset your data usage before starting to calculate here. Because as everyone else has said, if you have used 400mb in a day you need to scale back your pron watching while at work. I just looked at mine as I hadn't resent since getting the new phone, I haven't broken 400 mb and have had it since November.

I don't use WiFi because my LTE is faster. I stream Spotify and Pandora about 2 hours a day along with heavy email, Facebook, Instagram and gun forum browsing.

400mb a day is normal if you stream every now and then.

Yeah I am still grandfathered in. I pay full price to keep that plan and now I'm glad I did seeing my real time usage.
