fuel press. test 04 330ci zhp convertible
Should the fuel pump start running when ig. Switch is full on just before cranking the eng. over?. Also, is the place to test fuel press. that shraeder valve on the injector rail?.

The fuel pump will "prime" the rail when you turn the key to position 2 ("run"). You'll here the fuel hiss through the filter/pressure regulator below the driver's seat.

04' 330ci ZHP Convertible no power to fuel pump
A couple days ago the eng. starts missfiring during acceleration. Made it home (barely) sputtering whole way down to a crawl at times. Shut off for 30 seconds would run a bit better afterwards. There is 5v.at one of the fuel pump wires (at fuel pump) at all times. With ign. at run position there is no 12v. at pump. Checkd glove box and E box fuses good. How do i get to relays behind glovebox?,i want to swap wiper and pump relays. Can a bad MAF sensor or what else cause no v. at pump?. Thanks......Robert J. Nc. Ca.
