Key Fob problem
Hey guys I searched and couldnt find someone with my similar problem. I have a BMW 325i 2002 with Diamond shaped key. I only have 1 key. Problem is I tried reprogramming it every way possible and no luck. I opened the key and saw the small little orange bar on the board missing. The key appeared to have been opened before. Not sure what that is and I was wondering If i can solder a new orange piece on it or just switch boards? Can anyone shed light on my options?

I may not be much help, but I assume the battery was replace by the previous owner. I have a key that needs a new battery and I searched on YouTube and found where a guy replace the battery and I believe he mentioned something about programming they key.

I dont think she replaced it because it wasnt soldered on or bent it looked factory. Only thing i noticed was the missing orange piece from the picture^
