From Honda to BMW, with love

Long time resident in the Honda camp, about 13 years. She's always been a reliable workhorse, never complained about anything and never left me high and dry. Here she is - my trusty 1999 Honda Civic Coupe...

And then this baby came along, being offered to me for a price I simply could not refuse. Immaculately maintained, lots of parts proactively replaced. Runs like a dream. And so it happened - my new 2002 BMW 330Ci...

Notice I've kept to a common theme here? Silver two door coupes are my style, it is like the Honda has been reborn into the 330Ci. I love it!

I would like to thank you for not putting fart can or crappy mods onto your honda. It is very clean and I wish you were local so I could purchase it

Nice I had a 98' ex coupe same color. She never let me down, all the way right up to 242k till I gave it to my brother and he traded it in for a Z.

should've kept the honda as dd car and have the e46 as the weekender or the alternate dd car.

Wow the 330 looks clean! It's very unusual for silver to pop like that, your 330 must have enjoyed a hell-of-a detailing!

So annoying when people quote the entire first post with like 10 pictures. Take some time to save bandwidth and delete the images within the post...

I like the Honda, it's something I would even consider (their gas mileage is fantastic). And that BMW looks like a great representation of a well maintained E46. Treat it well!

Actually the images in the quote are loaded from same place as pictures in OP. So there is no extra bandwidth. But it sure is annoying.

Someone with connection should ask admin or it guy to install mod that hides (or posts links to) images in quotes.

I only got the car a couple of weeks ago so haven't really thought too far ahead regarding mods yet.

However... I've seen some LED tails which look pretty cool. Would these just be a straight swap? Or does it need some special wiring coz its LED? Are the ebay units good quality, as they seem quite cheap to buy.

Quite a few mods already on the car fitted by the previous owner though - eg Dynavin head unit, Morel speakers, Bilstein shocks, drilled rotors, etc. But the rest of it is stock.

I'm not into silly mods like fart cannons. That just ruins everything. I'm more into tasteful mods - subtle but stunning.

Spend the extra money and get OEM LED tails. Thats what I did and it was well worth it! You'll need to buy the retrofit cables from the dealer which are not that expensive, and also an LCM reflash (unless you disable your hot/cold checks with Scanner 1.4) in order to get rid of the error codes. LED's require less power which is why they throw a code. But in my opinion, all of that is much better than getting a cheap pair off ebay!

Car looks SO clean

Check out solidjake's thread on lighting. Ebay is an absolute no-go. The sponsors here sell LED tails. Check out DDM tuning for some Eagle Eye LED tail lights
