Interior convertible seal

Hi All -

New to vert ownership. I have a simple question. When I look behind me, and the interior fabric "seal" from the rear seat to the back of the fabric...the fabric is not flush against the cabin. It is raised in a slight arc. So that If I sit back there I can see the mechancis of the top. Should the fabric be flush against the interior trim?

I looked because I hear a lot of road noise...I expect some, but am wondering if this arc is normal?

The top opens and closes without issue...

I don't know about everyone else but I'm having trouble understanding...a picture (of the issue) would be nice.

Yeah, I'm never in the back of my vert so I'm lost. Will have to take a look tomorrow. Pics would definitely help.

Isn't there a DIY for fixing the convertible top liner? IIRC there are some small cables that pull the liner tight just behind the rear windows.

If you mean on the sides, yes, there is a slight arc running back and forth and, looking carefully, you can see a bit of the innards. On both sides. This is normal. Anywhere else - no. Also, very little road noise in my car. But, it's still not like a Rolls.
