I don't know what to do. Perhaps we shoudl start putting up more signs that say breaking the law is illegal?

if we could lock up the crazies like we used to do, it would help a lot.

I found it funny that in one of the other political discussions a guy said "simsima have you ever met with 2000_328 since you guys live in the same area? I bet it would turn into a fight".

In reality, I think B is a funny guy and enjoy his company. We just don't see eye to eye on things and, over the net, humor and joking turns into blah

Ban dealer sales of AR-15 and AK47. Allow p2p sales on these weapons that already exist in the system, but ensure that their sale must go through an authorized gun retailer (who has the registration paperwork). Guns can still be sold on the open market, and dealers get to take a transaction/paperwork fee (because I really feel for mom and pop gun shops who will suffer under a weapons sale ban of any kind, honestly do).

So the price of the existing weapons skyrockets. No longer $1400 for an AR-15, now they are $3500 maybe... GREAT. Law abiding citizen, you can still buy one. Crazy person? Hope you are flush, because now its harder for the average nutjob to obtain. Criminal? Keep on crimin', nothing will stop that.

So access to weapons continues, sale of existing weapons (which we have ENOUGH of), continues. Ammo/gun prices go up. Average nutjob can't afford them. Fewer high-casualty mass shootings.

thanks for reminding me that I need to renew my ccl. PA concealed carry allows a law abiding citizen to do this. note that this is an expression. not that it is cool for kids to carry guns. although the kids growing up around here are more sensible with than most adults across the US.

I didn't know METH was sold in the inner city. I guess crack is sold in rural america.

How would you enforce gun safe usage?

What gun show loophole?

Every gun I've bought at a gun show has had the exact same process as buying in a store.

Why should one have to be licensed to carry a gun? Why should the government license me to arm and protect myself? Enjoy a hobby of shooting? Compete in shooting competitions?

They speak of a deal made by the "owner" of the company doing a private sale. Thus, not needing to run background checks.
