Affirmative Action
The decision for Fisher vs Texas gets handed down sometime this year and if it goes the way most people are expecting it to go, it's going to end Affirmative Action as we know it.
I'm just wondering if there's anybody in here who still supports Affirmative Action as it is currently practiced? Personally, I think everybody should do what the University of California does. No names or ethnicity questions, just application numbers.

We have a half-black President. I think we're there.

I think it has easily outlived its usefulness, but it will continue to live on in the private sector via "diversity" initiatives...until they are ruled discriminatory.

Out of pure selfishness I hope Affirmative Action disappears. I'd rather quit my job and find a new one if I ever have to face an OFCCP audit.
