Sloppy, rattly feeling from steering wheel over bumps in corners

I drive a Z4 but its the same suspension setup as a E46. 118k miles.

Just replaced the shocks and struts with Bilstein touring, the old shocks were completely shot. After replacing them, I began noticing a sloppy feeling from the wheel only around broken rough road around corners. Its like a rattly, unstable feeling on the corners.

I replaced the front LCA bushings with meyle HD. Didnt fix the problem

Could it be the sway bar end links? All the ball joints seem tight and its only happening around corners where its a really bumpy road

Did you change the strut mounts? Those can be a little worn at that mileage.

I didnt- reused them as they were still tight and rotated with no noise or play. Any way to check?

OP I had similar issues that went away after replacing my lower control arms. Your ball joints are probably shot and need to be replace if they have not been already. I would also recommend changing out your swaybar bushing as well. They are an over looked part that tend to make rattling noises. they are cheap and take about 20 mins to replace. Hope this helps.
