doors please

2000 328 coupe..Both frt doors are locked and woulhn't unlock or open from the inside or outside.I have the remote and still won.t unlock..I have had to pull on the drivers handle a few times to get it to open in the past.So I'm guessing the Latch actuator has gone bad...But now I can't get the door open to replace it..I have pulled the frt seat and have the door panel off and pushed and pulled on all the rods/cable ect that i can fine but still can't see a way of releasing the door

Your GM5 module is acting up... Two relays and a few hours of leisure time. There isn't a release for the door unless it is unlocked- in which the current supplied to the locking actuator (inside your door) doesn't have-- so it will not release. I have a vert, and went through this recently. Once you have it unlocked, do not lock it again or you get the same outcome.... (search GM5 module)

fyi, our cars "lock" down the door handles in 15-20 minutes of inactivity... I had to climb over the rear windows into my backseat....and then had to climb over my door to get out.. PIA!!!
