Need help with throttle body
Hello i need a good DIY on how to take out and clean the throttle body since lately im habing some issues with it and tried to clean it from the outside but didn actually had any positive results. THANKS! I own a E46 328i with about 136,000 miles (1999)

There's probably a diy on here. I forgot where I found it. Remember to get a gasket for it as well. Anyway, here's what I did to clean it after removal:
Initially clean it with CRC Throttle Body Cleaner (or similar product). Dry it, then use Seafoam Deep Creep. You should also check your disa gasket, intake boots, icv valve & icv gasket while you're doing the tb. Last edited by Zardoz33; 01-04-2013 at 03:05 AM. |
