electrical fault

hi, ive just registered so new to it all

i have a problem withmy car, i drive it today and parked it up and when i got back into the car and turned the key it wouldnt start, as i didnt even turn over and all ignition lifhts stay on. it has also affected my sound system, everytime i turn the key it jus click then everything goes intermittant...

...any ideas?

1st thing get battery checked 2nd get alternator checked then go from there hth

Sounds like battery. Pull it, get it tested to see what it's putting out. Also see how old it is- if it's just old and gone, easy fix. If it's a newer battery and it's toast, look into alternator, shorts, terminals, etc. lots of "it won't start" threads around, especially in the vert forum.

Check for battery condition with on-board computer without having to remove battery. Search forum for "hidden codes" or "OBC".
