Discussion- Electronic Superchargers

Was looking on the internet during some free time today and came across an electric supercharger that replaces the airbox and has a fan in the pipe to "suck in more air." I feel like this is a waste of about $200. Anyone ever buy one? What were the results like? I do not want to buy one, just curious to see who has and what their experience was

Its a universal fit by the way. I dont think I trust it

YES DUDE!!!

I couldn't get enough power from just the one I initially bought so I called them right away and had the second one shipped overnight. Once it arrived, the box looked as pristine as the previous one, also wrapped in fine delicate silk that had a bow on top ready to be unraveled. Once I pulled on the string, the box dismantled itself onto the floor and there it was again, staring me in the face. I went to great lengths, but finally after working on putting them in series with one another, so that the air incoming from the first super charger would be exponentially increased into the second super charger and then it tripled tenfold once it goes past the throttle body. I couldn't handle this insane amount of power without installing additional fuel pumps, a total of seven (7), to provide just the right amount of fuel pressure in order to sustain the increased amounts of air.

The current Dodge hemi engine does not produce enough HP to turn the blower to power a top fuel dragster... Nothing is free.

I have seen a couple of these types of electric "superchargers". non under $200 have worked. People who installed them pissed.

There was a $1000 electric one that did add like 10whp. But they are gone now...

for your enjoyment.

Forget those electric superchargers. I'm getting a couple of leaf blowers.

BTW, here is a article written by the same guys from the video:
