Picture request

I am near finished with an auto/5-speed swap on my 325xiT. I have recently completed installing the shifter and connected it to the output shaft (the gear changing one) on the transmission. The problem is, the shifter sits about a 1/2" or so to far to the right (passenger side). The transfer case is not attached yet so I can still swap it out at this time. It seems to shift through all the gears fine.

Everything is hooked up correctly far as I can tell. I am wondering if my selector rod (the shaft linking the shift lever to the output on the trans is bent wrong...specifically the pins that the shifter lever receives).

You see, when the transmission was shipped to me, I have a suspicion that something landed on it. When I received it, the shift carrier arm was broken, but, it was not before shipping. If something came down hard enough on that to break it, it may have also bent the selector rod.

It may be a long shot that someone has a selector rod laying around but I thought I would ask if you could shoot a few pictures of different angles for me. For example: straight above, straight from both sides with it sitting on a flat surface, straight from each end sitting on a flat surface. Any other photos that let me determine the orientation of the pins on the end of the rod.

I don't think the rod itself is incorrectly bent, but, rather the pin on the shift lever end.

TIA for your time!

I'll post up a summary when I am done. If you want to take it on and have any questions I would be happy to share my experiences. I could only find one XI auto->manual swap but it covers all the basics. Went ahead and ordered a new selector rod anyway. Luckily, it's a returnable part so if mine doesn't seem bent, I can't at least return it.
