TireRack inventory
How accurate is TireRack's inventory count?
I am looking for Conti ExtremeContact DW (staggered 18") and the rears are back ordered from Continental everywhere, but TireRack is showing stock.

I don't want to order them only to find out later there is no stock and then have the hassle of returning the fronts, or whatever.

Can I trust the TireRack delivery estimate?

We have the fronts in stock in all locations. The rears are in stock only in our Delaware warehouse. The web site will show give you the shipping options during checkout, so be sure to selected the "in stock" shipping location which will be Delaware.

OK, great!

Is the low inventory seasonal or are these tires coming to end of life? I don't want to buy tires that I might have a hard time finding replacements for if I have a blowout or damage a tire. Will Conti still be making these for awhile?

This is a current production tire, but frequently sells out due to popularity.

Ok. I will go ahead and order them today, unless you know of any rebates coming up soon

I am in no particular rush, my car is in storage until late March/April

lol they scared her in the rain. I said that is why they work so good in the dry.

Tires were delivered to US warehouse in less the 2 days, with basic UPS shipping!

Went to get them today. Nice looking tires, great price, fast delivery, thumbs up Tire Rack!
