Weird sound on right turn

Hi,

I get very wierd sound which I can't identify. On older BMWs, when you open a trunk, the trunk's struts make a sound similar to "whining".

Now, when I am driving for a while, and then go to a parking lot, and finally go to a parking spot. If that spot is to the right, somewhere in the middle of a turn, I hear that "whine". Sometimes I hear it when I return the steering back to neutral position, car already standing still.

It does not hapen all the times. And it is not loud, but noticeable.

Belts and pulleys are relatively new.

Anybody has any ideas?

What year make and model car are you having this issue with?

It is 2002 325i 5-sp, around 140000mi

Bump. I'm having this exact issue but when I go left, and when returning the wheel straight after turning left. It only happens at very low speed turns, and it sounds like it is creaking while I turn
