Test fitting 4" chrome lips in the front. After the test fit I knew I had no chance on pulling this off with out modification to the front fender .I didn't want to go that route so I stuck with my existing size .
I'm going wider on my wheels and refinishing them I was not sure on what color to do . Also since I'm repainting my car frozen silver what color of wheel would actually go good with that so I did a lot of browsing on line for color combos and also did some spraying on my personnel wheels to actually see what it will look like in person.
What I did first was completely strip the existing powder coat and sprayed some heavy primer to fill in the porous metal and did some sanding with a 220 grit

I sprayed epoxy sealer right over the heavy build primer to create a new flat surface with no sand scratches.perfect for color/base coat ..

Also sprayed a mixture I did .Its a fine metallic grey with a unique tone. This is just the base coat with no clear..

And here is the result with clear coat the fallowing day. Upclose pic so u can see the color and metal flake ..

With the 5" lip I'm going to be doing in the rear also with some quarter panel modification to really make the wheel fit.

I decided to do gloss black powder coat on my barrels .I noticed it was much easier to clean and also didn't look as bad as matte black did with brake dust on it. The wheel in the rear is now a 11 1/2"

Definitely need a ZHP knob. Gonna be honest, really don't like that Carbon wrap, it looks too dead in there. Why not pull off all of the trim and paint it the same Frozen Silver the car? Wheels look fantastic. Both finishes look great but the Satin shows off the character of the face rather than wash it out in the gloss. Good luck with your project!

Again, great work.

+1 to grey wheels- and not black.

The interior looks good, but as another poster said I'd also change the trim.
