Honestly, I'm not against it. It prevents people from hoarding ammo. It sucks when you legitimately want it to shoot, but a LOT of people are hoarding for the sake of hoarding. People need to realize that ammunition won't be banned, and really never has. There are a LOT of people who honestly think there's going to be a revolution in a couple months. There are also people who honestly believe a zombie apocalypse will happen. Seriously.
Zombie apocalypse is real and going to happen k? Every time my girl and i watch an episode of walking dead she wants me to buy more ammo, guns and suppressors. Haha

Walmart is usually $8.99-9.99 from what i recall. Range ammo you'll pay a few bucks extra usually.

I went to Walmart yesterday during lunch and this ass hat in front of me purchased whatever was left in 9mm, about 30 boxes. Then the guy tells the clerk he doesn't even own a 9mm and that he plans on selling it. The clerk told him he was going to buy some ammo but now he had to wait since this guy purchased it all. The ass hat offered to sell 2 boxes at 100% profit.

Got it. I read it differently. Ammo FOR the range is usually cheaper, but ammo AT the range is more expensive.

Also, I pay about $17.99 for 50 FMJ's at Wal-Mart

I need a 9mm for the range.

The ammo I purchased yesterday was Remington fmj 100 rounds- roughly $25 after tax per box

Ran out to the hunting land to check my trail camera, ended up running a quick 10 rounds through the AR. I still wish I would have gotten this bug years ago...

Usually $9.99 is a good price.

Range ammo at the range is expensive (read usually like twice the price), like said before

I went to our local gun store (they have 3 around out area). They don't have any sales out for the ammo. In december they had .40 for $11.99...now they want $16.99, bastards.

Anyways, they had cases up to about 4 feet. They were just limited from people buying cases.

Their sale ad isn't out for January yet, hopefully they get some sales going.

EXACTALLY what I am talking about. Yes, they do have some limited ammo at my local range....but it is only one box to shoot AT the range per caliber. Also, buying ammo AT the range is always more expensive, that is how they make their money.

For me, going to a range with under 200 rounds of handgun ammo is not that much fun. I normally go with a minimum of 400 rounds.....mixed caliber or not.
