Full of sh!t if you don't agree. If you think we need government programs, welfare, this that and the other, then you can't possibly be fiscally conservative since the money comes from the same government piggy bank. You are either a liberal or a fiscal conservative, you can't have it both ways.

I don't like most social programs. I do want social rights.

I don't like most social programs. I do want equal social rights.

Just looking at the title, it sounds like a republican who's sick of seeing other republicans with that view point vote for a non-republican because of social views.

Exactly! And I don't care who gets an abortion, as long as I don't have to pay for it.

Thats the point of his video. Once you legalize abortion to the level liberals want, the next step is having it paid for. Medical weed becomes a "prescription drug" and Sandra Fluke needs it paid for. Everything the liberals want costs money. Now, most of the "social rights" ie gay marriage, abortion, drugs, etc I am for, but I am NOT for their fallout, and there lies the problem.

If you don't agree with the video, you are just delusional.

lol @ the idea that it's not possible to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative. Maybe if you think in black and white or nothing but extremes, but we live in the gray area, not black and white.

I think what he meant to say that it is very difficult to be fiscally conservative and socially liberal in practice, not theory. I don't see why wanting drugs or abortions legal = agreeing to provide them for free.

Classic slippery slope argument. The world is full of people who are happy to have things one way but against taking that next step. Few people I know think about conservatism and liberalism in Manichean terms.
