I hate the police!!!

today i was on the way to where my girlfriend works so we could have lunch across the street... I´m talking about in Monaco (not the UK.) All is well until there, here´s where it just gets hilarious...

I drive down the road above the port (where the F1 start/finish is) and turn so i can park my car on the lower side of the port, there´s a cop on a motorbike thats going the opposite direction and turns just behind me, in my rearview i see him preparing his master plan....

he overtakes me and points to the side, i stop and he comes over, and starts giving me hastle over my front number plate (i dont have it on my bumper but in the front window, cos it looks better) so he starts to get all anal and ****, and he goes i saw you without a plate 3 weeks ago aswell, im like: im sorry sir but 3 weeks ago i was still working on my car, and he´s like: what do you mean, so i explain that i do most of my car myself so im in a good position to say that my car wasnt on the road 3 weeks ago, he tells me that there is only one car like mine, so it must mean that im bullshitting. Im like: im flattered that you realise there is only one car like mine, but it wasnt me... he goes nuts and says im makin fun of him, im like no im not sir hes like your car was on the road 3 weeks ago, im like look at my paint job its brand new...so he goes over to his bike and starts writing down a ****, keep in mind that my girl is waiting for me...

then he starts giving me a lecture on what options he has to give me a fine and telling me all the amounts and stuff... he then asks me what option im going to take, so i tell him ill leave it in the garage...he then goes i want you to come by the station thursday with the plate on correctly and your also gonna have to do something about your car papers, im like why ????

he then goes it says here your car is black but i dont see it black...

i get out and show him the rear of the car (it happened to be in the shade) and asked him what color is this then???he goes black, im like exactly, he then goes but the front isnt black, im like sir the colo goes purple when the sunlight hits it, and he goes well you better sort it out with the dmv cos otherwise there will be a fine waiting for you!!!!

WHAT THE F...!!!! whats the DMV GONNA WRITE ON MY PAPERS....


Color: Black that turns purple when the sun hits it.

I honestly doubt that that will fit in the small color box...

this was also the same cop who stopped me to say i wasnt allowed to have letters on the top part of the windshield and was trying to do me for havng 19s about 4 months ago...

thursday im going to the station and im having him come out to look at my car with the front plate on, and have a higher up cop then him come out and tell heim about the color problem we seem to be having...

SORRY ABOUT THE LONG POST GUYS; im just a bit pis sed off write now, its only cos he doesnt like for whatever reason that he gives me all this c r a p...

oh yeah i ended up only spending 20 minutes with my girl ( who was very understanding, and also hates the fu cker for giving ma all that sh it...

just thought i should tell you that US fanatics are lucky not to have to have front plates on....

P.S. mine will be off in a week anyways

that sux. i would be very pissed off too, i hate getting hastled. if im doing something wrong then i deserve punishment, but that cop is just being a dick. oh, and for the plates, in Texas we have to have them on, but im breaking that law

yeah, i am in Texas as well and have never ran a front plate on any of my cars with no problems....knock on wood

Same in Cali. I've had my e46 for 5 days now. The front plate is not on and I've driven by cops all day on the 4th and not a ticket at all.

If I get stopped, I have the "well, occifer, I uh, didn't know I had to have the plate on the front too" act all set. Although he'll probably smack me in the teeth with his night stick because it's the LAPD and what not, but honestly, I don't want to drill my front fender/bumper/spoiler. I think if the city wants us to drive with a plate up front, they should pay for a Tornado kit as a replacement.

vince got away with so much with his euro plates. he drives around with no license plates except his for euro plates.

i live in philadelphia, (no front plate requirement in PA) but i have my car registered at my rents address on the jersey shore... jersey sucks because of the front plate requirements, and of course on the drive back down to philly after the weekend some azzhole cop sees me and another car book through a yellow light, the other car, which was behind me, peels down a different street and the fu cking cop comes after me (i hadn't technically done anything really wrong so i couldn't wait to see what kind of sh it he was going to make up) and gives me a 15 minute lecture about not having a front plate... and then doesn't give me a ticket but we have this exchange:

Cop: What's that on your windshield?
me- what do you mean?
c- that black box above your rearview mirror?
m- that's my radar detector
c- what do you use it for?
m- to detect radar?
c- why would you need to detect radar?
m- so i don't get a ticket
c- why, do you speed? are you intentionally breaking the law?

i kid you not, this went on for another 5 minutes before he let me go...

cops would kill me over here if i ran a german plate on the front, i used to have real german plates when i bought the car over there, you guys cant even think of all the hastle i got from the dicks before registering it over here....

then i went awall on the mods, paint and rims and well the cops seem to dislike me even more now....

no. it sez ...E46 M3 he jsut kept the registration stickers on his windshield, so it looks like he just bought the car. cops questioned him about his plate but he got away with it. haha ask him next time, he's funny.

i actually did that to a bike cop last year. he was a UCPD cop (UCLA university cop) and he had someone pulled over, it was a fixed up car and i figured it was like 1 am so ANY ticket, even for rollin through a stop sign, was stupid. so i roll be real slow and turn up the volume as high as i can stand and stare down the cop the whole way (as he's writing a ticket). afterwards i still felt he hadnt gotten the messege so i did the same thing again but with the bass turned all the way down so he could hear the words clearly. i rolled by him again real slow and stared him down again, he didnt do anything. but then as i drive down the hill to get to my frat house, which is like a block away, a piggy in a squad car pulls behind me and tails me the whole way, until i get into my driveway. so i get out, stare at him until he goes away and proceed to blaze a phat one in honor of my greatness!

This thread seems to hate cops as much as I do.
The other thread I was reading was saying stuff about how cops are out there to protect us and yada yada yada...

2 weeks within getting my new front bumper, I get a ticket for no front license plate. $86 DAMN DOLLARS and I tell him my circumstance and he doesn't let me go (even though I showed him proof of a mounting bracket receipt) and he literally says, "Take it up with the judge."

It's like I said... Cops are supposed to be PROTECTING AND SERVING, not damn money makers for the government!
The reason why they all give tickets is because they're all too scared SH!TLESS to go stop actual crime.
If they can't take the heat, they shouldn't fricking take the job!

cause that's what they do... cops have become glorified fundraisers... we pay taxes, but since that's not enough since every single municipality in this country is mismanaged and overbudget, cops are told to write more tickets... it's just a big game... they have their radar gun... and I have my V1...
