Mike @thebmwpartstore is leaving

Omg...one of.the best sponsor and the best place to buy genuine/original BMW stuff is closing down.

The online store will.close but the parts department and dealership is still open.

I am so shocked. They have the cheapest price and the best service.

Sad sad day for the BMW community

You stated just why they are closing down ... cheap prices, low profit, low chance of success

I've never ordered from them but I'm always sorry to hear when a small business closes down.

Beleive they were the internet sales arm of Faulkner BMW (Lancaster PA).

Faulkner is a large and great dealership, been going there for years. However one of their pros / cons is that they also do a large buisness readying vehicles for the giant Manheim Auto Auction about 10 miles away. I remember some instances when I was in there over half of their service bays were full of Manheim cars.

My shipments from them have always been in Ohio. Cross-referencing the address gave me the location of the dealership: http://www.bmwstore.com/

Nope, Faulkner operates BMWPartssource.com.

http://directory.e46fanatics.com/spo...rtsSource.com/

TheBMWPartsstore.com was associated with a different dealership in OH.

It's part of the BMW Store and Cincinnati Mini. Mike's a great guy, ran his logo on my car autocrossing last year. He always took good care of me. Im stopping in today to order some stuff for the Mini, I'll see if I can get a scoop and report back.
