Exhaust system removal

Hi

I'm trying to lower the midsection - backbox but the positioning of the midsection join to the downpipe is awkward and the nuts facing me from underneath are a rusted mess.

Can anyone tell me what size the bolts are? I'm not sure what's easiest, trying to loosen them off through the wheelarch or just smash the rusts nuts from underneath?

Anyone done this before? N42/Coupe.

Thanks

Well in the US- the exhaust is one piece unless you have an M3. So most of us wouldn't know, sorry.
