PAsoft scanner identification error

When i run PAsoft I get the following error when I try to run the vehicle identification feature. With this exception I seem to be able to do everything else such as scan and recode features. Wondering if anyone else has this issue. I read that if the connection is loose, errors may show up but no matter how i connect it to the obd port this error continues to show up. Thanks in advance.

Mine ran into similar issues. Worked fine 4 or 5 times, then wouldn't read but 1/4 of the time, throwing this error the other 3/4. Ended up sending it back to car360 for repairs. That was a month ago. Still haven't heard back.
