Cheap Zhp!?

https://buffalo.craigslist.org/cto/5880771750.html

This seems like an amazing price, miles arent insanely high and all the issues he states seem to not be a big deal. The ad seems legitimate because all the maintenance listed seems to be typical of the e46. Is there something im Overlooking?

Probably rusting and 185k is insanely high. Seems like a fair price.

Yes.

Any Bimmer like this needs 2 things Before you buy it:

In this order

1) Compression Test

2) PPI

It's somewhat common to have a cooling system failure which then leads to an overheat situation, once overheated to motor could easily be bad in one or more cylinders. A CT will quickly determine the motors health, PPI for everything else.

There was a thread with that car in the classifieds recently but I can't find it. The "legit seller", member of the forum from 2009 posted the car. Another member pointed out a CL ad with his car in a completely different state. I will try to find the thread so no one gets scammed.

You're not crazy, but yeah it's black. I think the angle of the light makes it look grey. The C pillar looks black to me.

Probably the least important but still - the upholstery has quite a lot of wear and tear.

For what it's worth my not for sale sapphire black 05 zhp sedan has nearly identical mileage and I think the price is crazy low.
