100LL fuel

Goodmorning everyone. I have a E46 328i 1999 with about 136,200 miles... I currently moved to a new state and since im a pilot i have easy access to this type of aviation fuel "100LL"... I would like to know if its ok to use it in my car and if doesnt what problems may it cause, note: i wont fill up the tank with this fuel, ill only use a 20onz bottle now and then but still would like to know the consequences on that.. Thank you

A 20oz bottle won't do anything for you and a tankful will burn your valves out. (If you use it over and over.)

I used to work at an airport as a kid. The owner always got pissed when we ran out of regular gas and put 100LL into the riding mower. The AvGas burned out so many engines that he eventually put a sign up where we parked the mower. NO 100LL in MOWER!

I used to mix it half and half with regular gas with my old musclecar... But that was back in the late 70's... I don't think I would try it on your BMW... Just sayin'

No, you need premium UNLEADED fuel.

The lead can foul your cat converter and damage the O2 sensors. Causing it to run worse, and actually burn the cat up fairly quickly. I believe Bmw DMEs can adapt up to 100 octane but it must be unleaded.
