Your car was working fine and you decide "hey, I'm bored... I'm gonna randomly pull my fuses out for fun"? You do know when you disconnect your battery, lights go on.

I did it because lately it seems that i have an electrical gremlin. My eml light, sensors tested fine. My air stopped blowing, has been fine after checking fuses, which were not blown. After start up, red headlight indicator was illuminated. Which i figured out was telling me a turn signal bulb is out, flashes fast , but then is fine after a couple of seconds. So i wanted to check my fuses. Is there something i have to reset?

Geeze some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Actually disconnecting the battery for a couple hours will clear certain errors. So take the negative side off and while your waiting double check the fuses that pertain the circuits with warning lights. Perhaps be more specific on the gremlins.

you need a airbag reset tool. Look/ask for one in one of the regional forums in your area.
edit: An indy might charge you like 40$

Lol, well, you should have read out the error codes, not played with fuses or inserted fuses where they don't belong.

There wasnt any error codes. I checked the fises because of an indicator light telling me my blinker light was out. But then after a few fast flashes, it would flash normally. So i decided to check my fuses. Since i've been having electrical issues. Airbag/sratbelt light ONLY came on after fuses were pulled. And like i said, slot 11 is empty and has been for 6 months. No warning lights this whole time. I teally wish u would read the entire post b4 u make bs comments, sledge

um... maybe the previous owner removed the airbag fuse to 'silence' the airbag warning light?
Is your seat's electrical cable connected? It sounds like you need the reset tool in any case. You can get a Chinese version on eBay and a number of Chinese export sites for about $30 (shipping will likely be a couple/few weeks from China, although sometimes they ship higher dollar items quite quickly). I have had an eye on one of these for a while, but haven't really needed one and am slightly hesitant because it is cheap. Then again the Peake tool seems overpriced considering how rarely the tool is likely to be used. |

Yes, I think you need a reset.
And on the bulb that's blinking fast, try cleaning the contact in the socket and pulling up on the bottom tab a little so it applies more force to the bulb when you put it in. Clean bottom of bulb too. Did that to mine 2 years ago...hasn't returned. If it doesn't work, try a new socket first...$10.

what did I do
Cayne23 you will not hurt anything by pulling fuses, or adding fuses in empty slots, I pull fuses all the time and every slot that was empty is now a spot for spares. I think you need to check all your grounds to make sure there are no broken wires. Hopefully you only need a reset, good luck.

Maybe I should rephrase what I said about putting fuses in spots that are empty, if you look closely at your fuse panel and a slot is empty shine a light and see if there are 2 prongs to connect the fuse, if there is then a fuse is gonna make a connection if there is only one prong it will not connect. When you said that there was no fuse for the airbag and you inserted a fuse and now you have a light I would wonder if your air bag was ever deployed I would check and make sure there is an air bag in the dash on the passenger side and make sure its plugged in and check your steering wheel air bag and there is also a box under your drivers seat, check all connections.
