9mm needed at a fair price

Looking to picking up a couple cases of 9mm. Not looking to pay rape prices. Can't find any decent prices online. And leads? No reloads please

cheapest online right now....9mm is still hard to find and nothing worth buying online by the case at the moment IMO. The deal above is better then a lot, otherwise better off becoming friends with somebody who works at walmart and keep buying the bulk packs

What's your local pricing? No i haven't found it by the case (1000) locally for $200 again yet. Only that cheap at Walmart but not always available.

Appreciate it brother. For those of who that don't know. Online ammo sales is ending in April and all ammo sales are going to be logged and requires a background check starting April in NY. Trying to add to my "collection" as much as possible before then.

About what your link was. Anywhere from $13-$15 for non reloads. At least for 9mm.

You just want this for practice? That's all ball ammo, you know. 9mm is such a fast light projectile that JHP is the way to go for anti personnel uses.

Bass Pro has some good deals on Remington 9mm ball, from time to time.

Don't knock reloads. It depends on who makes them and what's in them.
One of the best .357 rounds I ever shot, I loaded myself. 125gr Hornady JHP over H110 powder. Big fireball from a short barrel but tight groups manageable recoil and massive slug expansion.

My Springfield wont shoot reloads. At least the ones at my local shop. I had anywhere from 3-5 jams per 50. Which is obviously awful. Have never had a problem (not once) with new rounds.
I think some guns just take them and some won't.

Like I said. It depends on who loads and what's in them. Some pistols need the full recoil of factory power loads, others need the FMJ to smoothly feed. If the jams are caused by lack of recoil, you know to use full charge loads, if they are caused by feed issues, you may want to consider having the ramp polished.
Both my Hi-Power and Sig P239, shoot everything flawlessly. On the other hand, my custom 1911 in .45 ACP, shoots every type of round as long as it is full charge.

Cabelas had Winchester White Box for like $100 for 500 shipped not too long ago.

Its out there, you just have to be patient and jump when you see it.

PS - I would not do reloads unless I reloaded them myself. To each their own; just not worth it to me.

Thanks for the link!

That is why I said depends on who loads them. I only shoot my own or those done by friends I trust and know their equipment. The problem with range reloads is more the quality of powder used and fouling.

The only way to get really high quality rounds is to sort by projectiles by weight and weigh, not measure each charge. A progressive loader doesn't give the quality control of singe stage presses IMO.

I have a Springfield "Loaded" 1911. It feeds everything and anything from 230 FMJ to JHP and lead ball. No matter brand or reloads.

1911s do that, especially when properly set up. Mine was custom built for me and can handle over pressure rounds, hence the massive recoil spring that requires full charge rounds

I just bought a 100 value pack of Winchester white box from Dicks for $34. First time they've had ammo on the shelf this year. They would only sell one box per customer per day.

It was 9mm 114g fmj.

Academy sports has full shelves of ammo. 9mm is back down to $10 a box last time I checked (steel cased). 5.56 is $8 a box though...

Only reason they have full shelves is its still limited to 2 boxes per caliber per person per day...

That's pretty expensive. 9mm should run roughly 20-25/100.
