Farting at urinal/public restroom?

What is the etiquette for farting at the urinal when there are other strangers peeing next to you? Is it fine to just let one rip?

What about when you are in a stall and just peeing? Fine?

I am ashamed to say that after all my years on this planet, I still have no idea.

*Edit*

If you guys do fart, do you try to keep it quiet, or do you just go as loud as you can and hope you get a laugh out of it no shame?

it helps to relive pressure so you can pee. Fart away.

I lose pee stream pressure if I fart whilst peeing.

Yes, it is one of those situations where it is acceptable though. After all, no one should be talking anyway, so they won't say anything.

Lmao I was just wondering about this a few days ago. I've seen people do this before. I don't think it's wrong. I would feel weird though. Especially at work.

While we're on this subject, I absolutely can't stand when someone tries to make conversation with you while you're doing your business or when they look at you in any way. I just want to get in and get out

When I was 16 and at my first job, I met the owner of the company in the bathroom on my 3rd day. He was pissing in the urinal the entire time while talking to me. After a while I just couldn't take it and said I'll be outside.

Bathroom conversations are not as awkward as the silence while you're taking a dump and someone else is in the stall next to you doing the same.

A better question is....is it ok to bust out laughing when someone has the shotgun poops or is farting up a storm while you are in the bathroom with them?

My Ride: slower than yours
You get used to it if you were in the military, or go wit people to same school.. I dont mind conversing.. I had to ask for TP because my stall didn't havr any and if i kept in silence I'd be doomed... turned out it was my lab partner taking a **** next to me.

What confuses me is those people that wash their hands before they poo but not after..

I'm with Fergo on this however farting does releif pressure and makes peeing more much effective.

I say fart away in the Mens room. Would you rather your co-worker float that biscuit over your cube wall?

That is odd, but I think you're better off washing your hands before you pee than after (if you had to pick one). Your hands are FAR dirtier and filled with germs than your junk which has been safely behind 2 articles of clothing all day. If anything, your hands are making your piece dirty.

The worst is badges on your belt, common place these days. Pull your pants down in the stall and you know who's shitting next to you.
