Left Hand vs Right Hand Drive Cars
Anybody been around the world?
Seems like LHD is the way to go and is preferred over RHD? I really want another place in Australia, or maybe London, but I want a LHD car. Arabs seem to bring LHD cars to London

Suppose it depends on what you are used to driving. But if i moved to the states i would want a lhd because its better suited to your roads.

Driven in a few places around the world. It doesn't really make a difference.
You can get LHD cars here in Australia with a few restrictions (eg: club rego, 30+ YO or ultra rare). |

How many countries use RHD? I can only think of the UK, Australia, and Japan. What are the others?

Being right handed. I couldn't imagine trying to shift quickly or very accurately in a RHD vehicle...

Probably what he should have said is how many large countries drive RHD. About 25% of the World population drives on the Left Hand Side.

Actually that's the kind of list I was hoping for. I haven't traveled to most of those places so I was wondering.

I'm right-handed but I use my left hand more. Actually they are used equally. I thought about the idea of driving in the right. The cars in UK are so much better too.
Although crossing the street is a problem. I'm so use to traffic flowing a certain way. I got twisted around when I tried crossing the streets of London.

Calm down. You said that you would want "another place in Australia... but I want a LHD car". I live in Australia and simply making you aware that it is possible to drive LHD cars here. Plenty of old school Mustangs/Porsches/E30 M3s getting around.
So that's what the **** this **** is all about. |

LHD vs RHD is based on what side of the road you drive on. Ever try passing on the left while sitting on the right side of your car?
