This happens to me and I went online to see if it happened to other people in the past and there are tons of forums dedicated to this and lots of people that claim that you enter a time vortex. One moment its 5pm and your at work, and the next its 6:30 and your at home nd don't have any idea how you got there.

This happens to me all the time. I found it happens to me more when I listen to talk radio lol.

If you're not paying 100% attention, your awareness is lower and your reaction times and decision process are slower. That's not a criticism of you personally, it's just human nature.

I'm not saying that you're any worse than anyone else that zones out. I only say this because the tone of your post makes it seem like you think you're just as safe a driver when you're zoned out as when you're not. And that's simply not the case.

If you mean in the US, it's actually closer to 30,000. I don't know how many it is worldwide, but I'm sure it's a lot. But your point is well taken in relevance to this thread, because a lot of crashes could be avoided if drivers would just pay more attention.
