James Yeager Steps In It

If any of you have been following recent events, you'll know that James Yeager is in hot water. MAC has detailed it on his facebook page, but the rest of the world has picked up on it also.
It started with James saying he would start killing people if the government went further with gun bans. This is one problem. The bigger problem is that that idiot made a video about it. Now the State of Tennessee has revoked his carry permit.

What some people forget is that regardless of how you feel, you sometimes need to consider keeping your thoughts to yourself. There are open forums to take this stuff, but putting it online for the world to see means the whole world can see. Looking like a nut does nothing but hurt the gun community. The video in the above link was probably not too bad, up until that last comment at the end. He could have omitted that last comment and it wouldn't have been a big deal.

Of course, this is what we've come to expect from James Yeager. He's screwed up his LE career with his mouth, he's screwed up his PMC career with his mouth, now he's screwing his own gun group career with his mouth.

There's still an obligation to use tact when you talk about this stuff. If you sound like an idiot, a zealot nut, or just a country bumpkin good ol boy, the liberal media will make sure everyone sees it that way and promote it to push their agenda. What Yeager did was give the liberal media ammunition to use against us.

I said it in the other thread, but, he makes us normal gun owners look like nutjobs.

James Yeager intentionally tries to stir the pot with his usual dipsh*t comments. This one obviously went too far over the top, and now he's got hell to pay for it.

Yep, we can't keep the idiots among us quiet. That's why the media goes to people like him instead of responsible intelligent people like Jeff Gonzalez or Larry Vickers, or popular celebrities like Tom Selleck, Joe Mantegna or Brad Pitt. They want to go for Jim-Bob the country bumpkin with the IQ of a 7th grader who will likely say something idiotic, uneducated or racist. James Yeager is a "Jim-Bob".
