Keith Ratliff, FPSRussia manager, murdered. [Elaboration from another post.]

http://libertyandsuch.com/manager-of...ound-murdered/

Quote:
Keith Ratliff, the manager of FPS Russia, the 3rd most popular youtube channel was found dead yesterday, tied up to a chair and shot in the back of the head.

The radio and media at large isn’t mentioning the exact details, however this is a very important thing. FPS Russia is a driving force in the pro-gun movement concerning youth. The videos published are very pro-gun, and reach literally millions of impressionable youth showing them that firearms just aren’t for people in movies or video games.

From the details, it was not a robbery turned murder. His guns were still left in the house. So, why was he murdered mob style?

This represents a second well known player in the firearms industry to be killed in the past week. Only a few days ago, John Novseke was killed in a somewhat mysterious car crash.

Interestingly enough, one of FPSRussia’s recent videos featured him tied to a chair, held hostage and about to be shot.

What bothers me MOST about this stuff is that since the Sandy Hook shootings, many major media players have come out and publicly called for the death of those who support guns. Are the deaths of Mr. Ratliff & Mr. Novseke just random chance, or is there something bigger going on? Our own government isn’t opposed to killing innocent people to promote gun control, so maybe we shouldn’t consider things like this odd.

To further confirm, here is a twitter screenshot from FPSRussia’s media manager (Keith was the weapons manager) – Note, updates are in reverse chronological order.

This is tragic to say the least.

wow...hadn't heard about Noveske either. This seems like a mysterious coincidence at the very least.

John Noveske wasn't an intentional hit. He wasn't wearing his seatbelt. From what I read, it sounds like the crash could have been survivable otherwise.

If this story is true and isn't some publicity stunt, I'd be surprised. If it is true, I'm guessing there's more to the story than what's been said and there would be some culpability on the part of the victim. There are rarely murders that don't have a reason behind them. Most non-familial murders are drug related.

Forgive my ignorance, but how can this be a publicity stunt? Isn't "faking your own death" against the law?

Generally it's only illegal if it's done for monetary gain from the actual death, like life insurance collection or your family getting some kind of benefits because of your alleged death. It's generally like Stolen Valor on that way.
The action or situation around faking the death (or stealing valor) is not against the law. The subsequent financial fraud is generally where people generally get hung up.
But that's just within my state. Other states can be different.

Seems to me that the only reason he would do it is for monetary gain...or maybe security (someone wanted him dead, so he faked his own death so people back off....but who knows. Sad, dude was entertaining.

I know, but given what these guys do, it could just be a publicity stunt. I don't know. We're two weeks away from SHOT Show, so something like that really sounds weird.
Like I said, if it's true, it could be likely that he was involved in something he shouldn't have been involved in, and it bit him in the ass.

That, or an angry woman.

Which makes it seem he was snuck up on more likely was killed by someone that he trusted or knew. No weapons were stolen, this was a hit not a robbery

Right but 9 outta 10 mass shootings happen in gun FREE zones
I guess all the 911 phonecalls and laws in place couldn't save them either
