You would be expecting great roads for that price, instead its all pot holes and speed bumps! haha
1650!!!!!!

Lots of money for road tax.. and the roads are for ancient Greeks with donkeys..

I believe Greece and especially islands have the worst roads..

You can find in Romania some M3s at 9000-10.000 euro, and they are in pretty good condition.

may i ask why you wont consider a turbo? unless you want the noise of the supercharger, a properly sized turbo will deliver similar powerbands and have much more room for bigger power down the road.

i've posted twice in this thread about technique tuning's turbo kit for the 330.

techniquetuning.com

some people will say a supercharger is more reliable, some say a turbo is. personally, as long as your car makes exhaust and you have a proper turbo and tune, there's really no maintenance. no belts to break, no oil to change and you get the potential for tons of power without changing supercharger pulleys.

I consider the SC more reliable too..

I took a quick look at TT tbh when you mentioned that at your previous post.. I will check it again and tell you.

Thanks.

I don't see how TT is more money than low mileage S54 swap (done right with the M3 dash, gearbox, diff ...)

You re right.. I just don't love turbo and don't wanna follow that route..

I wanted to say that i believe it'a more value for money, an S54 complete swap with 6sp gearbox and OEM M3 lsd..

TT is almost same money as S54 swap..

Rod bearings yes, but with the engine out of the car i would keep my faith on uprated vac rod and crank bearings since is a easy job to do. As for the others parts you just need to keep an eye on it and replace as soon as the failures symptons began.

I see that supersprint uses 54mm compared to oem 2" (50.8mm)..

Just curious, where did you find that supersprint uses 54mm tubes? I have the supersprint x-pipe and resonator and I thought the pipes looked a bit bigger than stock.

You should be fine with dual 2" tubes. It flows plenty and sounds great. You could go single 3", but need a proper Y-Pipe after the headers to make it worth while. Burns makes one for ~$200.

I have some friends at Greek BMW forums that have full ss and remember them saying it's 54mm..
Also, if i remember correctly, ss used to mention that 3-4 years back at their site.. not anymore..

Good to know, yea they did look a tad larger than stock. Also, the mangaflow cat-back is a good option. It's dual 2.5 with an x-pipe.
