E46 K+DCAN ODB USB Cable Problems

I've been trying to code my e46 using either SSS PROGMAN, or NCSEXPERT. I've tested the cable with INPA but there is no connection. But the cable isn't being recognized as an interface in any of them.

I had read that in order to code cars older than E90's which the cable was originally designed for, you have to bridge pins 7+8 on the ODB connector on the cable. I did that and the cable still isn't working.

I've attached a picture of my work in imgur, so please let me know if the bridge was sufficient and any tips as to why it's still not working.
