Strange Tire Blowout?
My wife and I were driving down the road when we heard a loud pop and then the front left tire of our new Toyota Camry began to deflate. Upon examining the flat tire, we noticed a very strange impact to the tire. We don't remember hitting a pothole or any other stress on the tire. Any thoughts as to what could have caused this, and whether or not I could possibly get Michelin to cover this on a warranty claim? Any insight/opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Wow that's really strange, almost looks like the sidewall was cut out like that! Do you recall having a bubble in the sidewall of your tire? Or possibly having rubbed a curb badly enough to where it slightly damaged the sidewall?
