Damn, having owned a C5 and being a Corvette appreciator, I'm intrigued. This could be a great car, but I do have to agree with the rear not flowing well with the rest of the car. I am liking the interior as well, but I'm not too sure about the 7 gears. Just seems overkill to me... is it really necessary? I wonder what they're going to do with the power. The C6 base version is already fast and powerful as hell. Are they just going to throw more power on there or are they going to make the suspension feel better. Also, I wonder if they're going to stick with the "leaf" spring setup.

Interior only works in Rosso, and then it still looks a bit plasticky. The rest of it is wow, though!

As far as I know, the 7-speed includes active rev-matching, like that available for the 370Z, great for those that don't know how to heel/toe.

The 7-speed manual I think started with Porsche and the 991, though I think the Corvette is using it for a really tall over-drive to improve mpg.

As for the leaf springs, they still have it. But as you know, modern Corvette leaf springs are carbon fiber and used as an anti-roll bar.

Not a fan of the Camaro-style taillights.

Nice. I think the hood is over the top and I agree that the tail lights were stolen from the Camaro. But aside from that, lots o love for the new look.

I wanna see the engine.

to my wife...... where cars aren't her thing.....

me: "Tiff, here is the new corvette...."
tiff: "Looks like a camaro from the back"

pretty much on target with the rest of the comments here.

They should have changed the taillights, but I still like it.

I don't like it. If I ever own a corvette, It'll be a C5.

Better MPGs would be my guess.

You sir, are dumb. The C4 was very much an 80's car, lots of straight edges whereas the C5 was a lot more bubbly and curvy. The C6 has some similarities but was still different, and this C7 is a huge difference from the others, having a much more European look as compared to older cars.
