Lenny Kravitz overheard them playing his music

How cool to be in New Orleans and you are in the high school choir singing some rock song, and the musician who wrote it walks up and starts to jam with you.

Sorry Lenny! As much as you try, you'll never be Jimi Hendrix.

Still way cool!

Looks so staged, and I refuse to believe that anyone would voluntarily play any music by that no talent clown.

Fly Away was a fun song to play on guitar. You should share some songs you've composed so we can appreciate a real talent.

We are talking about kids who live in New Orleans. They are more knowable of music and musicians than probably any school kid. Plus most kids who study music know more than just what is on the radio. I was one and I bet they are too. A few months ago I was teaching a group guitar students (substitute teaching). I had my iPod playing on the classroom speakers while they walked in. Everything I played, they knew. Granted they were all bass/guitarist but they knew them. i.e. Soulive, Victor Wooten, MMW (Medeski Martin & Wood).

Way to go Lenny. Those kids will be talking about it for their life time.

To all the haters, thats pretty humble of an artist to jam up like that on the streets. Staged or not, it was good.
Jimmi Hendrix and slash is what his style is influenced from. It doesn't matter, his tunes are still original and that takes some talent to make such music. Not to mention he has won a couple of grammy's for best rock vocal male.
