2000 328ci Transmission Oil and Filter

Hello my fellow fanatics, i need help with looking for the correct automatic transmission oil for my 2000 328ci. I dont know if all 99-05 use the same trans. oil ?? I need some advice on the best oil to purchase or at least decent brand. If anyone knows of a website or store where i can purchace the bottles and filter, i would really appreciate it. I'm paying for the labor only and looking to supply the parts. Thanks in advance. (I live in Los Angeles if anyone knows of a place with great prices for BMW parts)

MTF-3 would be for a manual transmission.

Look at the label on your transmission for the BMW part number -
Here is a reference chart - http://www.bimmerinfo.com/files/e46t...sion-Chart.pdf

Opps, sorry, didn't see you had an auto. ^ correct. You can't use mtf. You need auto tranny fluid.

If you have the GM tranny you can use Dexron VI and they have a $3 fluid pump at autozone.
