Where is the reverse trigger?

I read on the schematics that I am looking for a blue/yellow wire. Is this ANY blue/yellow wire in the ENTIRE CAR, or just in a certain area?

I see a blue/yellow wire in the glove box, but dont know if i should tap it.

I am trying to connect the wire to trigger my dynavin nav HU to flip to reverse cam.///

its blue and yellow wire which is located on top of the fuse box there is like 3 or 4 that are blue or yellow and u can tap into any of them.

its located on top of this fuse box you are going to have to pull down the fuse box and you will see another black box on top of it then behind that black box you should see the blue and yellow wire you will also see where you can tap your vss wire which is black and white.

Do you often get lost when reversing into a parking space? Why does the Nav need to know when you are reversing?

Dude!!! One day, I put the car in reverse with Nav and it started navigating me back home...

no, seriously, the reverse trigger will flip the input on my deck to the reverse camera.

Please take detailed photos of what you end up doing with this. I retrofitted an auto-dim rear view mirror and the reverse trigger isn't connected cuz I didn't know where to grab it.

I ended up running a wire back to the trunk with the camera rca cable. I will just tap into the reverse light bulb wiring.

Careful with this. I tapped a blue/yellow behind the fuse box, just to its left. It turned out to be part of the rear passenger window regulator circuit. I ended up tapping into reverse light circuit in the main harness where it passes under the right rear speaker.

If you have a back up camera you would need it...

Exactly. You could also tap off the reverse light from the rear lights.

Has anyone every heard of using a volt meter to test? You guys are dangerous... with newer cars, you shouldn't just go tying into wires that you aren't SURE you know what they are... Yellow being a standard color for the airbag circuit, you could set off the airbags by tying into the wrong wire.... I know this post is old, but I'm just adding this wisdom for the future users who come looking.
