Should I buy this 325i?

Looks pretty sound and clean, but I'm going to see for myself this weekend or next. He's the third owner and is asking 12500. He claims to have a clean car fax and title. I will check on that. Here's what he said about it:

"I will do my best here real quick, I'm sure I will for get something tho......... 2005 BMW E46 325i sedan, rear wheel drive, manual trans, silver exterior, black leather inside, about 72300 miles, sport package, alum interior, no fake wood, 17" wheels, sunroof, fogs, V6, ++++. Additionally, I put a H & R cup kit suspension on the car at around 50k miles, that's about a 1K upgrade after the install, and I upgraded the whhels to BMW style 89 18 inch staggered wheels, and the original 17inch wheels I use for the winter with Nokian snow tires on all 4. The winter wheels r not included in the price, thats extra. But the car goes great thru the snow with the snow tires on all 4 corners for sure. Asking $12,500 cash only and thats firm. I don't need to sell, its a great car, so I can keep it just as easily as sell. Let me know if u wanna see it, even tho its a little dirty right now cause the weather. Hope I covered everything."

-------------

Lemme know what I should be looking for at this mileage because this would be my first e46 purchase. I know to look for flood damage because of sandy.

Thanks guys!

That car would be around 8k in Texas. Less if you can haggle.

I literally paid $5,000 less for the same car and miles. Don't do it.

if you pay more than $10K, you are getting robbed.

Car seems nice but mods really don't add value.

12 for 72k? I've seen better deals. Although, I'm not saying it's a bad deal. Mileage is decently low. It's manual? I'm thinking maybe it's steptronic. I would ask if he will let you take it to a nearby mechanic to get it checked out. KBB it. Carfax. Test drive. For sure. Other than that, looks pretty clean!
