I know this. My college buddies working for consulting companies that consult with the government have off because the government is their main client and the consulting companies follow suit.

US ranks pretty low, almost at the bottom, in vacation time off as compared to other countries in this article

I remember reading something like that not too long. To be honest, we are one of the hardest working and most productive countries in the world despite the "lazy" outlook other countries perceive us as.

Edit: And socialism probably has some play of having more days off in Europe. Not a fan though.

Don't expect any paid vacation days at all until you've put in a year at most US companies. Then you'll get a week. And if you work a year and one month, then quit, you won't even get the week that you earned.

Perfectly legal, perfectly acceptable to the idiots that comprise the US work force.

Germany is a hard working country and has more PTO time off than we do - and they have socialist practices. Also, according to the study, they have the same amount of public holidays as we do.

There is a difference between PTO and public (National) Holidays.

EDIT: holy thread jack. Back on topic now.

I started at my company last June and still got more than half of the paid vacation days given to salary associates for the calender year. It depends on the company and the manager. You're spouting more BS.

Just being dropped off by the pigs...oops, sorry, fine police officers, (What did Obummer say?.."the police acted...stupidly") I make no assumption that she would have a gun, but someone else on the 7th floor hearing her screams might.

Ps, tons of guns in cali....several usually law abiding citizen friends of mine have 50 cals and auto. (I personally have none FYI) I used to live in Mexico where guns are completely illegal. Used to hide under the bed on Christmas/new years, etc. You can't imagine the hardware they pull out there @ midnight.

Maybe tough gun laws kept this piece of $#!+ from getting a gun, but what could he have done with the gun that he didn't do with a knife? And dont say kill her because tossing her out on the seventh floor should have done that.

Was there "morality" in Chicago when the Italian mobsters were ruling the streets? Just wondering???

Organized crime is not even CLOSE to gangbanging. Key word being organized. People aren't afraid of walking through a mob neighborhood...in fact, they are some of the most desirable places to live. When it comes to organized crime, people are killed for very specific reasons, not just random gangbang shootings.

source?

and so you speak for other people and their views on organized crime controlled areas?

---

Edit:

Gangs are organized as well. Maybe not to the level mafia/mobs/organized crime is, but they have their system(s) and hierarchy.

My idea was out there. Everyone knows a bad guy's first choice of weaponry is a knife, hammer, or a dildo. He only resorts to guns when those most lethal items are difficult to find.

That makes it totally acceptable. I now desire to live in a mafia ran neighborhood. Maybe I should start a business there and hope I don't inadvertently witness anything.
