He makes a really good point here actually. One most of us have probably never thought about before. People made fun of blacks before too. Because they were different, just like gays are. Why do we always take it out on gays?

I guess what I'm really trying to say is...

...OP is black

I paid around that for mine. But got a LOT of other mods. No hardtop but really that's all I didn't get. Pretty much everything else is there.

I don't know -- I never took calling someone "ghey" to be an insult to actual gay people. I always saw it akin to saying someone throw's like a girl. Nothing wrong with actually being a girl, but it's still a jab at a guy's masculinity to be called a girl. Even today, a black person might be insulted if they're accused of acting like a "white boy." There's nothing wrong with being gay, but a straight guy sure wouldn't want to be. I guess where it's a little unbalanced is that "straight" isn't a mainstream insult in the gay community (or is it? I have no idea)... but it'll probably get there.

At the end of the day, we identify ourselves by our skin color, gender, sexuality, etc. The insult is an attack on individual identities, not entire societies. And at least between friends, such insults really aren't that big of a deal; there's kind of an implied understanding that no one actually means any of that ****.

I'm done.
