give it time, it'll come around. I believe it just launched so they probably have to work out the kinks

He may be a fat asshole, but this man is a boss. 1 year after his arrest, he found a slightly more legal way to do the exact same thing.

I just don't get why people have such a hard time paying for intellectual property

Because intellectual property is one of the few things that this country produces.. if all you buy are Chinese made, Wal-Mart sold, you aren't really helping this economy...

Are you implying that because you paid for the right to watch a single screening of a movie while it was in theaters, you are entitled to a copy of it on your computer?

Pretty much. I paid to see it, why do I have to pay to see it any more times?

People who pirate music buy 30% more music than people who do not pirate. The business model has changed for good.

It's true, sometimes I can't find a particular song for free than I have to buy it. I also support up and coming artists by buying their songs, but I sure as fuck not going give money to someone that has millions of dollars already.

So here is the study: http://stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk/mar...right-research

and I'm having trouble finding your claim. The closest I could find was this:

Quote:
Music infringers who accessed both legal and illegal content online claimed to spend the most on the category as a whole,6 spending on average 77.24 over the 3-month period. The 5% of internet users aged 12+ who only accessed illegal content, spent much less (13.80).
and that goes against what you're saying
