Please explain how you expect to manage traffic on the day? Will there be designated parking for those attending? If so, does this parking cater for weather variations on the day ie. undercover for rain, away from trees if its windy and at least 20 meters above sea level if there is a tsunami.

Excuse my ignorance as I have not been to many cruises before but I refuse to put myself or my family in harms way.

Hmm I don't see any pinned threads where you can post introductions in the Australia Section.

Unless you mean the general section, I see no point in doing that because that's just messy.

Rossim3 if this is how you treat your new members in the community, then I don't like it at all.

The very first thread in the forums is the new members introduction forum. Whats wrong with posting it there and not in Australia? It does not belong there.

Doesn't it make it even harder to manage? Like think about the parking spots. How do you get around this if you say we are going for lunch? At least for bikes we can park like 4-5 bikes in a parking spot.
we rarely drive hard in which case few cars is all you need, we just cruise, cruises are always better with more cars, our cruise meets hardly ever exceed 15 cars, and parking has never been a problem, its not a big deal

Obviously i'm no genius but logic implies that introducing yourself is probably more beneficial in the the section of the country you are from.....

By all means go ahead and introduce yourself in the general forum read mostly by people from other countries, but don't be shocked when you actually turn up to Australian events or see Australian members out and about and no one knows who the fk you are.

I guess the plus side to posting an intro thread in the general forums is that at least Bob from Canada and Simon from Boston will know who you are if you ever visit there.

btw cool kwaka, do you track much? Who do you follow in the motogp?

I sold the quaka for the M. Did two trackkies and wanted more out of it. Money is a limiting factor and the risk of stacking is quite high but that hasn't ruled me out on two wheels - I feel that it is much more exhilarating to be on a bike than car ( but maybe because I'm SMG). In the future I hope to take the M3 for a track day and learn how to drive it. I do plan to get another bike as well but only time will tell.

Back to the main topic - hopefully see you guys Saturday.

Mike
