Speaker sizes

I've searched and I keep seeing different sizes. Can someone tell me what all the speaker sizes are please. Are the midbass speakers in the rear, on the sides, in my vert, 6.5 inch like the ones in the doors?

Doors are labeled 5.25 with 3.5 depth, in my rears I have 6.5's I do not own an m3 but they are the same size speakers...for the fronts I would get 5.25 just to be safe but that's just me

Lol, I just know what it's labeled but if you did 6.5 now I'm tempted to do the same at least we know the rears are 6.5 and the fronts are 6.5

Re: Speaker sizes

All I had to do was knotch the black ring thst is screwed down. It fit perfectly around the speaker after I put 3 1 ibch long notches, where it was hitting the speaker. But they erre some cheap kenwoods. Just get me by for now. But im gonna upgrade soon

No. Search, there's so great posts about fitting convertible speakers and links to speakers that do fit.

I forget the exact size of the rear speakers, yet I do know you need a slim speaker in that size which is hard to find.

Re: Speaker sizes

Yea the grill is definitely a little smaller than the door. Its probably a 5.25 in there. I just want to know b4 I pull the panel off since its more involed than the door. I found some nice infinitys that are 6.5 inch. 180 watt, 2 ohm impedence

The rear panels in the vert are held on with 2 screws and a clip, much easier than the door panels to remove.

If you had searched you'd know the rear mids are 4" and you can fit a 5.25" if you find one slim enough. A standard 5.25" speaker is too deep.
