Thumbs down Lupe Fiasco is an idiot

.. but who didn't see this coming? It's not like the guy hid his feelings for Obama.

Quote:
Fiasco opened his set with "Words I never Said," his 2011 hit. During the performance, he criticized the president for his silence after recent bombing of the Gaza strip. During the 20 minute rap rant Fiasco continually rhymed, "Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn is a racist, Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn't say s***."

As concertgoers grew increasingly angry, a staff member approached Fiasco asking him to change songs. He continued with his chastising lyrics when his microphone was cut and the concert hall lights were dimmed, but that didn't stop the fiasco as he continued to rap and his band continued to play. Venue bouncers then intervened forcing him off stage and replacing his set with a DJ.

you mean to tell me that someone exploited a situation in order to send a political message?

Blame the person that planned the event.

Were these lyrics in the original song or were they improv?

They were in the original song. It sounds like he may have been repeating that line though.

He used to be good. Now he's just angry and off his rocker- like Immortal Technique.

EDIT: Yeah he performed that song for 30 minutes straight. At a pre-inaguration celebration.

Well, sounds like the event planner(s) failed and shouldn't have invited such a controversial performer. Why anyone would be surprised is beyond me

Video I saw... Crowd seemed to love it.

He's an artist, performing a song. Blame the person that booked him not the artist if he was performing lyrics from a song

Lol. Oh yeah, he's not going to perform one of his most favourite/popular songs that criticizes obama.

Pancakes, change your name to silly_billy.

He made the song about 8x the normal length.

Anyway judging by this video he should not have been invited...

Totally debunks the myth that all black people support Obama.
